The natural park of regional significance "Aya" was created, like all parks, with the aim of protecting and restoring natural resources. Natural parks are responsible tourism. The best places on the map are open and welcome to guests, but are protected by the state.

The area of the park is almost two thousand hectares. These are pine and pine-birch forests, birch forests, Lake Aya, steppes, meadows, the Katun floodplain.

The main attraction of the park is Lake Aya. Warm, freshwater. It is located a lake in one of three mountain basins on the surface of an ancient above-floodplain terrace on the left bank of the Katun, at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level and 75 m above the Katun level
