Famous Soviet poet, author of numerous collections of poetry and prose, songwriter "Moments "," Earth's Gravity "," Call Me, Call "," Song of the Elusive Avengers "and many others. Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize and the USSR State Prize. He entered literature together with a group of talented peers, including Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Bella Akhmadulina, Andrei Voznesensky and other famous poets.

Born June 20, 1932 in the village of Kosikha, Altai Territory. His family changed their place of residence several times. The beginning of the poet's literary activity can be considered the fifties, in 1950 the first publications of Rozhdestvensky appeared in print, in 1951 he entered the literary institute in Moscow.

Rozhdestvensky's poetry contains the hope and nerve of Soviet youth in the 1960s. A heightened sense of time, a combination of the themes of heroism, love, high demands on oneself and society - this was the poet's work. The theme of civic position, the need to be a socially active person - lies throughout his entire career. Rozhdestvensky, with his energetic, pretentious, “battle” letter, continued the traditions of Vladimir Mayakovsky.
