Ekaterina Savinova was born on December 26, 1926 in the village of Yeltsovka, Yeltsovsky District, Altai Territory. Graduated with honors from VGIK. Savinova's film debut took place in 1950 in the comedy film by I.A. Pyryev "Kuban Cossacks".

For 20 years of work in theater and cinema, Ekaterina Savinova has played roles in 5 performances and more than 20 films. The brightest and most memorable was the work in the comedy directed by E.I. Tashkova "Come tomorrow" (1963). According to a poll of viewers, the role of Frosi Burlakova performed by Savinova was recognized as the best female role in 1963.

Ekaterina Fedorovna Savinova died on April 25, 1970, and was buried in Novosibirsk.
