In mountainous areas, beach recreation is usually very poorly developed or completely absent. Therefore, the lake with clear, warm water, artificially created in 2007, has become a real oasis among the harsh mountains of Altai. The climate in this area is mild and pleasant, the air is fresh, filled with the aroma of pine forest, the nature is picturesque. It is not surprising that every year more and more Russian and foreign tourists rush to the lake.

Located on the territory of the special economic zone of tourist and recreational type "Turquoise Katun", the warm lake remains unnamed, although unofficially the reservoir has long been the same name as the entire area - "Turquoise Katun".

The developed infrastructure makes recreation on the lake comfortable and interesting for different groups of tourists. During the summer period, there are all kinds of attractions in water and on land:

• catamarans,
• inflatable boat,
  
• inflatable trampolines,
• trampoline with catapult,
  
• two water slides,
• inflatable toys for children,
• tricycles,
• children's two-level labyrinth,
  
• attraction "slingshot",
  
• cable car - "tarzanka".
  

A sandy beach with sun loungers is equipped almost along the entire perimeter of the lake, there are also separate VIP zones. For children, the shallow part of the reservoir is specially fenced off with floating buoys.
