Pilgrimage

Cognitive excursion through sacred Orthodox places of town Biysk. Tourists will get to know the history of a unique Orhodox historic-architectural monument of the end of XIX-the beginning of the XX centuries. "Biysk Archibishop's Metochion", they will visit the Museum of History of Altai Spiritual Mission, will visit St. Dmitriy Metropolitan of Rostov.

Historic part of the town-Kazanka will remind of events taking place there in the second part of the XIX century. Streets Irkutskaya and Rostovskaya will tell not only about the origin of their name, but will see the monuments of original antiquity. You will visit majestic Uspenskiy Cathedral-wonderful creature of Biysk masters of the beginning of the XX century. You will acquaint with the history of Pokrovskiy and Sretenskiy Temples in over the river side of the town.
Tourists will have the opportunity to bow to myrrh-pouring icon of the Prelate Makariy of Altai- former Bishop of Biysk. On the territory of a former Tikhvinskiy convent tourists will see preserved historic buildings, will visit Monastyrskaya grove, where there is the oldest poplar of Biysk. St. Tikhvinskiy source of cold spring water. Tourists will see wonderful panorama of the river Biya with fifth Biysk teracce, steep slopes of which is the chronicle of nature of former epochs!

Die Jahreszeiten der Altai Region sind nicht vorhersagbar. Im Sommer steht am Morgen Nebel, am Mittag herrscht Hitze und in der Nacht kommt ein Gewitter.

Der Schnee bedeckt den Boden erst Mitte November und fängt an zu schmelzen Anfang April. Die Niederschlagsmenge beträgt 40-60 cm.

Der Winter im Altai dauert eine lange Zeit und bringt viel Schnee und strenge Fröste. Eines Winters bauen die Kinder kleine und große Schneemänner überall,  und anderes Winters ist der Boden mit Schnee kaum bedeckt. Aber jeden Winter fahren alle Ski, laufen Schlittschuhe oder rodeln.

Young Russian metal required for the production of weapons and coins. Ural breeder Akinfiy Demidov founded in 1729 the first metallurgical plant - Kolyvano Voskresenskiy. Rudniy Altai was rich in silver. Clerks of Demidov started production in 1744. As the result there was establishment of feudal mining based on serf and artisan labor

Das sind: Rosenwurzel,  Maralwurzel,  Süßklee,  Nord-ostasiatische Pfingstrose,  Echtes Süßholz u.s.w.  Es gibt auch solche Heilpflanzen, deren Kultur zu kompliziert ist und deren Naturvorräte die einzige Quelle der Rohstoffe für Heilmittelproduktion darstellen. Das sind Adonisröschen, Preiselbeere, Sumpfcalmus, Nuphar lutea.
