Everyone In Life Should Have It's Own Big Kolyvan' Vase
Sergey Teplyakov, journalist, blogger:
-Some live to get the salary and buy trousers. And some to make a mark on the Earth.
For the first group many things seem impossible and unnecessary. But among those who somehow connected with Tsarina of Vases , there were a number of the second-otherwise we would never saw it.
The first are lost, and the works of the second are admired - houses, towns, pictures and vases - people are astonished even if they do not know their names. A person should have its own Big Kolyvan Vase, if you understand what I am talking about. Otherwise what to live for?...

Nowadays the goods of Revnev's jasper are in many museums of Russia and foreign countries. These are monolithic columns in the Hermitage, big vases, covered with bronze in the Russian Museum, two fireplaces in the Mineralogical Museum of A.E. Fersman in Moscow. And of course "Tsarina of Vases" in the Hermitage.
Deposit Of Jasper In Altai
People have known jasper from ancient times. The splits of this strong stone were used for making knives in the Stone Age , then this beautiful stone was used for decoration.
Jasper is minerals the basis of which is siliceous mining rock with different insertions. These insertions determine the colour of jasper, which can be violet, red and almost white. The stone justifies its name by the variety of colours and pictures (from ancient Greek iaspis  "variegated")
Revnev's jasper is of a green colour. Revnev's birthplace is situated in thirty seven kilometers to the south-east from Zmeinogorsk, on the eastern slope of mountain Revnukha.
